The Grizzly M550m is a PTO-driven forestry trimmer suitable for tractors in the 74- 184 kW power class. This shredder is ideal for green management and forest maintenance as well as shredding branches and trees with a maximum diameter of up to 30 cm. The housing has screwed linings on the inside, with counter-blades in systematic order, all made of high-wear resistant steel.

With the spring tension, the drive belts are in an optimum tension ratio and transmit the forces in the best possible way.
Efficient & powerful
The counter blade concept prevents large pieces of wood from being attracted to the housing, blocking the rotor, improving power demand and shredding quality.
Flexible positioning & performance
The close centre of gravity improves handling, as fewer counterweights are needed on the tractor. The three-point attachment frame allows for flexible positioning.
Push bar
The push bar with four optional teeth guides taller material into the rotor in a targeted and safe manner. A fixed or a hydraulic push bar are available.
Rotor
Proven rotor technology with various BCS- or UPTs possible for excellent shredding quality and best mulching results.
Centre of gravity
Due to the relatively vertical position, the center of gravity of the mulcher is very close to the tractor.
Hydraulic protection flap
The hydraulic flap is optional equipped with counter blades for additional shredding and perfect mulching results and provides extra protection while mulching.
Protected hydraulic hoses
Hydraulic hoses are integrated in the housing for more protection and reduction of downtimes.
